The NHS is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Financial Team for a 13-month fixed term role. This position is vital for delivering comprehensive financial management services across the Trust, requiring strong analytical skills and relevant qualifications. Job summary
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within EPUT Financial Team to cover maternity leave for 13 months.
The role of Senior Finance Business Partner Locality Based Services will be a pivotal role responsible for the provision of a comprehensive financial management service to directors and managers across the Trust's Locality Based Services Care Units. This will involve working closely with Care Unit and lead officers to provide financial management advice and support using information produced by the financial management team.
The role involves managing the production of timely and accurate management information and requires both technical knowledge of accounting procedures and an understanding of the operational business of the Trust.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is self-motivated, has a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of achievements including meeting deadlines.
The post holder must have high professional standards, integrity and possess enthusiasm and energy with a desire for continuous improvement. The Trust's finance department is based in Grays, Thurrock.
Main duties of the jobSupport the Head of Finance in the identification, development, planning and implementation of local strategies and programmes, which delivers national policy and strategy and that modernises and improves health care delivery and performance across the Trust.
Interpret national finance guidance/policy/legislation and advise the organisation on how to take forward and implement and taking action in conjunction with the Head of Finance.
Plan and performance manage the services and resources for which you are responsible. Train, support and encourage staff to give their best and seek innovation. Make change happen and help others to do so.
To develop partnership working and user involvement within services.
To evaluate models of service, ensuring that all such models are in line with national policies.
To support development of services working to the latest models and ensuring they are of the highest standard which secures local and national recognition.
To be a member of corporate or directorate committees as agreed by the Head of Finance.
