A leading university in the UK is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner for IT and Libraries. The role involves overseeing financial performance, supporting strategic financial decisions, and engaging with leadership teams. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. We are seeking an experienced accountant who can bring a strong business partnering skills to the team, ensuring that the leadership teams' in IT and the Libraries have a strong understanding of their financial performance and dynamics, and are well informed and supporting in setting their financial strategy and making key financial decisions. As well as having strong interpersonal skills, we are looking for candidates with a commercial perspective, an ability to produce insightful analysis and to challenge based on that analysis.
This role will lead business partnering support to IT and the Libraries. This will cover annual planning, quarterly reforecasting, monthly reporting and variance analysis for these areas, coupled with active ongoing engagement with the leadership teams in those services.
The Library and IT Accountants will report into this role. In turn this role will report to the Head of Finance, IT & Libraries.
