Job description

Senior Finance Business Partner - IT & Libraries

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you an experienced accountant who is interested in a new challenge? Are you able to provide oversight, analysis, support, guidance and challenge? Can you build and maintain effective relationships at a senior level, to support and influence strategic direction?

We are seeking an experienced accountant who can bring a strong business partnering skills to the team, ensuring that the leadership teams' in IT and the Libraries have a strong understanding of their financial performance and dynamics, and are well informed and supporting in setting their financial strategy and making key financial decisions. As well as having strong interpersonal skills, we are looking for candidates with a commercial perspective, an ability to produce insightful analysis and to challenge based on that analysis.

This role will lead business partnering support to IT and the Libraries. This will cover annual planning, quarterly reforecasting, monthly reporting and variance analysis for these areas, coupled with active ongoing engagement with the leadership teams in those services.

The Library and IT Accountants will report into this role. In turn this role will report to the Head of Finance, IT & Libraries.
