Senior Finance Business Partner

About the Role

The Senior Finance Business Partner is required to support the Energy Infrastructure division, providing business partnering support to the MD of the division and the five unique businesses which make up the division. This role involves collaborating with the head of each business unit, monitoring budgets/forecasts, and using financial data to aid decision making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to form strong working relationships with non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Consolidation and presentation of the fortnightly business unit forecasts.
  • Tracking against FY26 budgeted performance, revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and capex.
  • Work closely with the Energy leadership team to provide financial insights and support decision making.
  • Review and support in tender submissions, pricing strategy to support gross margin stability/growth.
  • Business partnering support to key stakeholders across the division.
  • Month end consolidation and review. Presentation of results with clear bridges and commentary.
  • Prepare and present month business unit review pack.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Management of a small team, qualified individuals, and graduates.
  • Support explorations phase of new acquisition targets.
