Temporary vacancy - Senior Finance Business Partner

Location:Milton Keynes

Contract length:6 - 9 months

Hours:Full time, Monday to Friday

Rate:TBC

To act as a strategic finance partner within the senior leadership team, providing financial insight, challenge, and guidance to improve business performance and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and advise on financial results, forecasts, and risks.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
• Lead on budget planning, business plans, and financial analysis.
• Influence cost and income drivers to meet business targets.
• Coach and challenge senior budget holders on financial performance.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
• Deliver KPIs and highlight financial trends and issues.
• Provide financial leadership in key meetings and investment decisions.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to drive performance and explore new opportunities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in complex financial environments and risk management.
• Proven budget management and financial governance skills.
• Excellent technical financial and accounting knowledge.
• Full membership of a professional accounting body.
• Experience with Oracle systems.
