Job summary

Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd. is representing a market-leading UK organisation seeking a Finance Business Partner to be the trusted finance voice to a senior commercial leadership team and to influence strategy at Director level.

You will translate complex financial insight into clear commercial recommendations, drive performance across a large business area and play a central role in long-term planning and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• ACA or CIMA qualification with Big 4/Top 10 training
• Demonstrable commercial finance experience in a FTSE-listed or large complex organisation
• Ability to influence and challenge at senior levels and translate financial insight into commercial recommendations
• Excellent communication skills and credibility to engage with directors and senior leaders

The Role

This is not a reporting role. As Finance Business Partner, you will be the trusted finance voice to a senior commercial leadership team — challenging, influencing and shaping strategy at Director level. You will translate complex financial insight into clear commercial recommendations, drive performance across a significant business area and play a central role in long-term planning and investment decisions.

The Ideal Candidate

• Exceptional academic background — strong A Levels and a high-calibre degree
• ACA or CIMA qualified, ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm
• Demonstrable commercial finance experience gained within a FTSE-listed business, major retailer or similarly large and complex organisation
• A true business partner — someone who influences and challenges, not just reports
• Outstanding commercial acumen with the gravitas and credibility to engage at the most senior levels
