Senior Finance Business Partner

Paddington (Hybrid working)

Bellrock Group are currently looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to operate within our Consultancy division. As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will report into the CFO and work closely with the senior leadership team to drive commercial and financial performance. You’ll play a key role in translating operational strategy into financial plans, supporting project profitability, and enabling data-informed decisions through high-quality financial insight.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the lead finance partner to Consultancy business leaders across service lines (e.g. asset management, compliance, estates strategy)
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles for the Consultancy division
• Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance, variances, and trends
• Lead financial due diligence, valuation modelling, and post-acquisition integration planning for M&A activity, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the private equity stakeholders
  
• Support strategic decision-making through business case preparation and investment appraisal
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and increase financial efficiency
• Act as a finance lead on commercial tenders, contract renewals, and new business proposals
• Monitor key KPIs and implement dashboards and performance tracking tools
• Collaborate with operations to improve project controls, billing cycles, and WIP management
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Lead or support ad-hoc financial projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Significant experience in a similar finance business partnering role
• Experience in a consultancy or professional services environment is highly desirable
• Previous experience within a Private equity backed business
• M&A experience
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and commercial analysis skills
• Excellent Excel and reporting system skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
• Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused mindset
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach

Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from our Paddington office, two days a week with the team and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
