Job description

Swale Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Assistant to join our central finance team based in Sittingbourne, Kent. We welcome applications for both Full Time and Part Time positions.

Key duties include:

1. Supporting our finance assistants with training and workload prioritisation
2. Managing the month-end process
3. Maintaining ParentPay items
4. Dealing with queries from staff, suppliers, customers, and parents

This is a challenging but rewarding role involving a range of duties working with multiple stakeholders both internal and external. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to prioritise their own workload and support others.

A good working knowledge of IRIS Financials (PSF) is advantageous but not essential.
