Job summary

Vitality is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the UK Finance team on a fixed-term basis. The role focuses on month‑end accounting, management reporting and partnering with budget holders to enable informed decisions.

Based in Bournemouth with hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 remote), you’ll work closely with Finance Business Partners and Financial Control. You’ll bring strong management accounting experience, advanced financial analysis, and robust stakeholder engagement skills,

Qualifications

• Proven management accounting experience.
• Strong ability to analyse financial performance and variances.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and finance systems.
• Progress towards or holding accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA).

Responsibilities

• Own month‑end accounting across multiple business areas.
• Lead review and analysis of operating expenditure and variances.
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance.
• Partner with budget holders to provide commercial insights.
• Manage accruals, prepayments and journal activity.
• Handle intercompany recharge activity with accuracy.
• Deliver balance sheet reconciliations and resolve items.
• Support forecasting, planning and budgeting with analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance Partners and Systems teams to improve reporting.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
