Job summary

A leading global provider of clinical research services, IQVIA Argentina is seeking a financial analyst to support its Clinical Operations business. The role involves insightful financial analysis, reporting, and participation in critical forecasting processes. Candidates should possess strong numeracy and communication skills, with financial roles experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Report on actual revenue performance vs backlog and P&L variance.
  • Participate in monthly forecasting and annual planning cycles.
  • Prepare Monthly Business Review reports and update scorecards.

Job Overview
Seeking a candidate to fill a critical role within the Finance team supporting the Clinical Operations business.

Key Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Finance Director and working with the Global Site Activation and Site Training Solutions businesses.
• Offer Finance and Business leaders insightful analysis on monthly financial results and timesheet data, for example,
o Actual revenue performance vs backlog.
o P&L variance reporting/analysis.
o Utilization analysis.
• Participate in our monthly forecasting and annual planning cycles.
• Prepare Monthly Business Review reports and update standardized scorecards.
• Ad hoc financial modelling/reporting as required.

Essential Skills:
• Strong numeracy skills and relevant experience in a financial role.
• Ability to work well with all levels of staff within finance and operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable Skills:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Qualified or part-qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA.

• Previous working experience in financial planning and analysis
• Work experience within the CRO, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare information industries preferred.
• Experience with Hyperion and PeopleSoft.
