Job Description:

Sitting at the heart of Finance, the Business Analysis team (part of Business Planning and Analysis) is a key unit within TJX Europe. This team produces financial analysis and provides rationale behind strategic decisions, offering high exposure to ad-hoc investment appraisal and analysis.

Job Summary

Key questions include: Does additional store payroll drive incremental sales? What is the value of Click & Collect? How does product mix impact store performance? How can merchandise be better protected? How can data be leveraged? What are retail market trends? How can the European business grow?

This Senior Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to be a truly commercial finance partner. You will deliver exciting projects using multiple data sources and visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively to support business decisions.

This role supports the entire organization, partnering with Retail Stores, Ecommerce, Distribution, Property, Marketing, Operations, Merchandising, and Buying. It provides excellent exposure to senior leadership, including the European CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with various functions, providing financial and analytical support to achieve goals and challenge current thinking with recommendations to optimize opportunities and minimize risks.
• Work closely with the Business Analysis Manager to provide cohesive analytical support for strategic decisions, including insights on competitors and market trends.
• Support business trials using Test and Learn methodology, analyzing results with statistical software, and presenting findings to senior leadership to inform large-scale investments.
