Job description

Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst

Location: Flexible, UK. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £60,000+

What you'll be doing:

  1. Managing a team of 1 to deliver a range of inputs & outputs to Business Processes in a variety of toolsets, across a range of finance deliverables
  2. Operating Business Processes to create/manage data/activities in Business ERP's where a Financial Control role is nominated, applying judgement as required
  3. Provision of support to internal & external customers in the application of the established policies, processes and procedures
  4. Supervise transactional review activity, applying judgement where required, to provide process assurance (data accuracy, data quality, compliance, etc.) including intervention in support of query resolution
  5. Supporting the applicable financial controls as required, including support to Process Design
  6. Preparing & presenting accurate reporting information for a variety of stakeholders, including regular provision of bespoke information in order to drive outcomes
  7. Participate in preparation for, and support to, Audit (Internal & External)
  8. Support root cause analysis of any process failures and implement continuous improvement actions to eliminate issues identified

Your skills and experiences:

  1. Hold professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable PQE
  2. Good understanding of finance technology and how it can be optimised in end-to-end processes (particularly SAP & associated reporting toolsets)
  3. Good knowledge of end-to-end processes (particularly R2R & P2P) and how effective controls need to be applied to processes
