Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a commercially focused Senior FP&A Analyst in Liverpool to develop financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses that drive strategic decisions and business performance.

You will work with senior finance stakeholders to provide profitability insights, cash flow analysis and long-term planning, with a hybrid working arrangement and a permanent role in a professional services firm.

Qualifications

• Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience FP&A, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel and BI/SQL tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and long-range plans.
• Produce scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Analyze financial performance to identify risks, opportunities and profitability improvements.

This is a commercially focused Senior FP&A Analyst role responsible for developing financial models, forecasts and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance. You'll work closely with senior finance stakeholders, providing insight into profitability, cash flow, investment decisions and long-term financial planning.

Profile

• Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong experience within FP&A, commercial finance, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills, ideally with exposure to Power BI, SQL or ERP systems.
• Experience building integrated three-statement financial models.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear commercial insights.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
