Job description

As a (Senior) Field Technical Engineer within our Electrophysiology (EP) team, you will be responsible for providing expert support and advice on the use of the Abbott EP portfolio within the South West region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert clinical consultation, training, and support on the use of all EP products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as understanding the dynamics of the healthcare market in the country.
  • Providing technical support to the EP salesforce.
  • Conducting product presentations and participating in stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions from EMEA or customers.

What you'll need:

  • A BSc in a science-related degree is preferred.
  • Significant experience with electrophysiology products, either within a clinical setting or in an industry role.
  • Experience in 3D mapping.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • A willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
