Job summary

Baker Hughes Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to support oilfield chemical operations at a refinery site near Pembroke, Wales.

The role involves field support, sampling, data interpretation, and collaboration with technical teams to ensure daily operations run smoothly. You will develop relationships with customers, perform laboratory analyses, manage chemical inventories, and assist with loading/unloading for chemical tanker trailers.

Qualifications

• Experience in refinery or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of process chemicals and water treatment.
• Understanding of refinery utilities.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day refinery process treatment programs to ensure delivery.
• Develop trusted relationships with customers.
• Undertaking hydrocarbon & water sampling for routine laboratory analysis.
• Collecting and interpreting data for troubleshooting and service reports.
• Providing field support, laboratory analysis and technical guidance for customers.
• Managing chemical inventories at the customer location.
• Assist with loading and unloading for chemical tanker trailers and trucks.
