We currently have an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our Field Operations Team within Developer Services. The Developer Services team provide a reliable and helpful service to property developers and the domestic and commercial customers that we service. You will form part of an open and informative team who are committed to providing a high level of service to each of our customers.

Where you fit in:
You will play a vital role in supporting with escalated queries and complex issues to ensure the solutions that result in a reliable and safe clean water network for both domestic and commercial customers. You will support Developers, Customers, Service Partners and Yorkshire Water with ensuring that all new water supplies comply with water regulations while adhering to Health & Safety.
The role involves complex solution support, advising on opposing solutions to ensure the safest and most cost-effective solution and ensuring that resolutions meet Yorkshire Water specifications prior to sign off.
Some role responsibilities include the following –
• Water Regulation inspection on internal and external supply feed.
• Communicating with different departments to acquire information to ensure a comprehensive solution.
• Visiting various locations to gather information
• Helping customer to understand issues and resolutions.
• Support with Prestart and ongoing meetings on complex projects.
• Support Inspectors in delivering solutions to complex problems or unforeseen changes.
• Advise team on any changes to policies and equipment that is implemented by Yorkshire Water.
• Carry out Vehicle and Safety audits
• Provide expert technical advice to both operations and the customer
• Support with service partner management and quality for both mains and new supplies
• Deputise for Manager when required
What skills are we looking for?
• Full UK driving license with 6 points or less
• Good IT skills, experience of using Microsoft Office
• Technical understanding of Clean Water Assets - particularly of individual assets and how they link up to the efficient running of the network.
• Basic Maths and English knowledge and skills
• Practical mindset and enjoy working outdoors in all weathers, comfortable taking a hands-on approach to work task
