Job summary

Ikwezi Mining (Pty) Ltd is seeking a qualified earthmoving equipment mechanic to perform repair and service work on site and in the workshop, carry out machine assessments and complete job cards, and provide field support during visits or dispatches.

Qualifications

Matric/Grade 12 and English literacy are essential.
Post matric qualification / N3 is required.
Qualified earthmoving equipment mechanic or diesel mechanic (trade tested) is essential.
5 years of field service experience with traceable references.
Auto electrical experience is advantageous.
Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

Repair and service work on site and in the workshop.
Machine assessments and complete job cards.
Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
Tie workflow to schedule and manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
Produce timely and detailed service reports.
Operate vehicle safely and use field automation systems.
Follow all procedures and cooperate with the technical team.
