Job summary

NetPMD is seeking a Senior Fiber Network Engineer in the United Kingdom to design, implement, and validate fiber network solutions. You will contribute to HLD/LLD, develop migration strategies, and guide deployment activities across customer projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of routing, GPON/XGSPON, and scripting for automation, with opportunities for global collaboration and travel. Flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

Advanced SP Routing & Optical Networking skills and PON network architecture experience.
Nokia accreditations or equivalent certifications are required.
Experience with GPON/XGSPON technologies and routing protocols (OSPF/BGP/MPLS).
Able to travel internationally when required and work with global clients.

Responsibilities

Assist in design, development and implementation of IT networks and infrastructure services.
Deliver HLD/LLD documents and define solution validation test plans for fiber projects.
Develop migration strategy, design and procedures for customer migrations.
Provide support for on-site customer meetings and solution validation.
