Senior FF&E Interior Designer (Residential) Job in South West London

A new opportunity is available in South West London. This position is ideal for a passionate designer eager to expand their experience in the luxury residential sector. The role involves overseeing a team and managing projects from inception to completion.

Our client is a renowned interior design and architecture firm with international projects. They specialize in luxury residential interiors, offering turn-key services with a portfolio that includes classical and elegant designs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage all project stages, from client briefing to project completion
• Prepare FF&E schemes, present concepts, specifications, and costings to clients
• Oversee the design and manufacturing of bespoke items, coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams
• Mentor junior team members through the design process
• Collaborate with the 3D visual team to ensure creative concepts and deadlines are met
• Lead FF&E team meetings, including planning and delegation
• Coordinate with relevant teams to adhere to project deadlines and budgets
• Assist in organizing site installations
• Ensure smooth operation of Estimac and implement training for new staff
• Supervise the preparation of design documentation by FF&E designers
• Present confidently to potential clients

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience in luxury residential design
• Proven track record from concept to completion
• Experience in designing bespoke joinery and furniture
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, furnishings, accessories, and artwork
• Leadership experience with mentoring teams and junior designers
• Experience liaising with high-net-worth individuals (HNWI)
• Knowledge of interior architecture and technical drawing comprehension
• Proficiency in Vectorworks for floorplans, elevations, and furniture drawings
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite and Estimac
