Job summary

Hunter Dunning is seeking a Senior FF&E Interior Designer for a luxury residential practice in Chelsea. You will lead concept development, manage multiple projects, and coordinate a wide range of collaborators to deliver high-end interiors.

Job description

A Senior FF&E Interior Designer is required for a luxury residential design practice in Chelsea, working on projects valued between £1 million and £10 million. This opportunity suits an experienced designer with 6+ years' UK luxury residential experience, exceptional FF&E knowledge and strong project coordination skills. You will manage multiple complex projects from concept development through delivery, working closely with senior leadership, clients, consultants, suppliers and specialist contractors.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop concepts, mood boards and client presentations
• Manage multiple projects from concept through completion
• Lead client meetings and present design proposals
• Coordinate consultants, suppliers and specialist contractors
• Monitor budgets, programmes, procurement and site delivery

The role includes developing bespoke furniture proposals, material selections, schedules and specifications while maintaining high design and technical standards. You will also support junior designers and undertake regular site visits and inspections.

Skills & Experience Required

• 6+ years' UK luxury residential design experience
• Strong FF&E and bespoke furniture expertise
• Advanced AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills
• Excellent technical drawing and construction knowledge
• Strong communication, organisation and client-management skills
• You should be confident producing construction packages, specifications and detailed interior architectural documentation. SketchUp experience is beneficial, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate complex residential projects with accuracy.

Salary & Benefits

£50,000+ dependent on experience. Benefits include hybrid working with one day from home after probation and the opportunity to work remotely abroad for one week annually.
