Job summary

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Birmingham seeks a Senior Fellow in joint reconstruction on a 9-month fixed-term contract. The appointee will have elective orthopaedic joint reconstruction experience and be interested in developing their skills in the management of prosthetic joint infections, revision of lower limb arthroplasty and limb salvage.

The appointee will be expected to play an active role in the Hospital’s clinical audit programme and provide teaching and advice

Qualifications

• Elective orthopaedic joint reconstruction experience.
• Interest in prosthetic joint infections, revisions and limb salvage.
• Ability to contribute to clinical audit and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the hospital's clinical audit programme.
• Provide teaching and advice to medical students during oncology attachment.
• Contribute to ongoing research and audit commitments.
• Work with Consultants to gain maximum experience.
