Job summary

The Royal College of Art is seeking an experienced Specialist Technical Instructor, Fashion to join our Fashion Atelier Workshops in London. You will support teaching, learning and research by providing expert technical guidance across pattern cutting and garment making, with a particular strength in menswear and tailoring.

Working with the Lead Technical Instructor and Technical Coordinator, you will deliver demonstrations, inductions and masterclasses, maintain high standards in facilities,

Qualifications

• Extensive practical experience in menswear, tailoring, pattern cutting and garment construction.
• Experience delivering technical inductions and masterclasses.
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance across fashion pattern cutting and garment making.
• Support teaching, learning and research within the Fashion Atelier Workshops.
• Deliver demonstrations, inductions and masterclasses to staff and students.
• Maintain high standards across technical spaces, equipment and working practices.
