As part of the dynamic content team within the wider Creative team, you are the inspiring Senior Fashion Editor.
You have more than a flair for fashion storytelling and will bring products and campaigns to life by crafting engaging narratives that captivate our customers, ensuring we tell meaningful stories across multiple touchpoints.
You will be responsible for developing compelling editorial content that aligns with New Look's Brand vision, ensuring our brand voice is always consistent.
In a nutshell, you will shape the voice of a leading fashion retailer, talking to millions of customers as though they were your friend— inspiring, relatable, and full of personality.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Content Creation: Develop engaging fashion stories aligned with seasonal trends, utilising the design team's initial vision, cultural and social events, and building credible content to enhance New Look's brand identity.
- Editorial Planning: Collaborate with the Snr AD and Content lead to build and execute content strategies for campaigns, editorials, CRM/emails, paid pushes, social media, website features, and other digital platforms.
- Product Storytelling: Write captivating narratives that highlight key features, design details, and seasonal influences, bringing products to life while maintaining brand voice and personality.
- Email & Marketing Support: Craft impactful copy for email campaigns that are aligned with the editorial narrative, commercial, and relatable.
- Trend Interpretation: Translate seasonal fashion trends into compelling content that inspires customers and supports the design direction.
- Fashion Passion: Bring fresh ideas for content stories and delivery methods, staying relevant and exciting with both planned and spontaneous content.
- Collaborative Working: Work closely with creative, styling, marketing, and design teams to align content with product launches and marketing strategies, brainstorming innovative ideas.
- Proofreading & Editing: Ensure all content is grammatically accurate, aligns with brand tone, and effectively communicates messages.
- Creative Vision: Collaborate with video content creators, stylists, and designers to produce visually compelling fashion editorials, campaigns, and social/CRM content.
- CRM: Work with digital and CRM teams to ensure email campaigns drive engagement and enhance customer experience.
- Critical Path: Manage timelines and deadlines for smooth project delivery.
- Leadership: Mentor junior copywriters, maintaining high standards across all content.
- Store: Guide seasonal and directional messaging for stores, bringing the brand voice to all communications.
WHO YOU ARE
- Proven experience in fashion editorial writing within retail or fashion environment.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, seasonal narratives, and product storytelling across platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to translate creative concepts into engaging content.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional experience.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms and digital content environments.
- Love of language and grammar, with top-tier editing skills.
