Job summary

A Senior Farm Environment Adviser role with Agricultural Recruitment Specialists in the South East of England offers an opportunity to work with an established environmental organisation on practical rural projects. Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships with farmers, landowners and rural stakeholders.
  • Providing practical advice on sustainable and environmentally beneficial farming practices.
  • Identifying opportunities for habitat creation, biodiversity enhancement and landscape scale environmental improvements.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of farm based projects and capital works.
  • Assisting farmers in accessing environmental schemes, grants and funding opportunities.
  • Working with partner organisations, regulators and industry stakeholders.
  • Organising farmer meetings, workshops and knowledge sharing events.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting environmental outcomes.
  • Contributing to funding applications and future projects.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
