LR Legal Recruitment is seeking a Family Solicitor with 5+ PQE for a prestigious SE London firm. You will manage a high-quality caseload of privately funded matters, including divorce, financial remedy and private children work, with a clear pathway to Head of Family.
The role offers hybrid working following a probation period, with two days in the office and three days remote. You will lead, mentor and develop the Family team, while driving business development, networking and client relations
Are you a commercially minded Family Solicitor looking for more than just a fee-earning role?
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a long-established and highly respected Legal 500 firm with an excellent reputation for client care, technical expertise and building long-term relationships with its clients. Known for its supportive and collaborative culture, this firm offers a genuine opportunity to shape the future of a growing department while enjoying a high level of autonomy and career progression.
The firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor (5+ years PQE) to join its established Family team, with a clear pathway towards becoming Head of Family.
The Family team currently consists of three experienced solicitors. There is already a strong flow of quality privately funded work, meaning you will inherit an active caseload from day one rather than having to build one from scratch. What the department is looking for is a Family specialist who enjoys business development, marketing and networking, and who can help drive the department forward whilst mentoring and leading the team. As such, the firm is keen to appoint a Family law specialist who can become the face of the department and take ownership of its continued growth and development.
Working closely with the wider leadership team, you will manage a high-quality caseload of privately funded matters including divorce, financial remedy and private children work, while contributing to the firm's profile through networking, marketing initiatives and relationship building.
The role is office-based for the first six months to allow you to fully integrate into the team, build relationships and gain a thorough understanding of the firm. Following this period, the firm offers a hybrid working model of two days in the office and three days working from home. Flexible or reduced hours will also be considered for the right candidate.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior Family Solicitor who combines strong technical expertise with a commercial mindset and is looking for a genuine leadership opportunity within a well-respected, forward-thinking firm. If you are seeking the chance to become the face of a successful Family department and play a key role in its future growth, this role should not be missed.
