Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Telford, delivering expert assessments and safeguarding interventions at a rate of £38 per hour (umbrella). You will collaborate with families and partner agencies, supervise social work practitioners, and develop intervention plans.

Qualifications

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, particularly within a family context.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex family dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
• Proficient in case management and documentation, with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of family situations to identify risks and protective factors.
• Developing and implementing effective intervention plans tailored to individual family needs.
• Providing supervision and guidance to social work practitioners, promoting best practices in safeguarding.
