Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking a Senior Family First Partnership Officer on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2029. The role leads the Families First Partnership Service, coordinating a team to deliver early wraparound support for children and families with complex needs.

The post focuses on multi-agency collaboration, safeguarding, and ensuring timely access to the right help across the five localities in Dudley. 37 hours per week with a salary of £42,839–£46,142.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and coordinating a team.
• Knowledge of Family First/Early Help strategies.
• Ability to work with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen operational leadership within the Families First Partnership Service.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality Early Support to children, young people and families.
• Manage frontline staff and improve family assessments and plans.
• Improve information sharing across services for early identification and service provision.
