Job summary

London Business School is seeking an Associate Director, Faculty HR to lead Faculty HR strategy and service delivery within the Research and Faculty Office. You will partner with senior academic and professional services leaders to align workforce planning, priorities, and people initiatives with the School’s goals.

You will oversee recruitment, promotion, tenure, performance, governance and data oversight, while developing a high-performing Faculty HR team and a responsive service for faculty.

Qualifications

• Degree, equivalent work experience or HR qualification such as CIPD.
• Track record in relationship building, persuasion and influencing.
• Resilient self-starter who leads by example.
• Collaborative leadership style with constructive behaviours.
• Solution-focused approach and strong communication skills.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and change.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Faculty HR strategy aligning with School priorities.
• Build relationships with senior academic and professional services leaders.
• Provide strategic HR leadership on workforce planning and people initiatives.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives with Faculty HR expertise.
• Oversee policy governance and change activity across Faculty HR.
• Lead and develop the Faculty HR team for high-quality service.
• Oversee faculty recruitment, onboarding, and communications.
• Oversee annual faculty performance and salary reviews.
• Provide oversight on complex employee relations matters.
• Ensure data governance and reporting for faculty HR processes.
• Support continuous improvement of faculty people processes.
