A housing association based in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Senior Technician - Electrical. This role involves overseeing workplace technicians, managing electrical maintenance, and providing technical guidance. Candidates must have relevant experience, recognized training, and excellent communication skills. We have an opportunity for a Senior Technician - Electrical to join our Workplace Team in Basingstoke.
You'll be based in our Basingstoke office and travelling between our other SNG sites when needed.
The starting salary is £35,000 - £42,500 depending on your experience.
The Role:
As a Senior Technician - Electrical you'll oversee and support the Workplace Technicians in the management and maintenance of the SNG workplace estate. You will be the first point of escalation for the Technicians, helping to manage their workload and endure routine maintenance internally and externally of our offices and buildings are completed safely and at a high level.
You'll provide technical guidance and provide your subject matter expertise on our electrical works. Performing routine maintenance on our electrical systems, diagnosing and repairing electrical issues and carrying out installs.
You will also support the Workplace Manager in delivering regular training and knowledge sharing and ensuring 3rd part contractors are supervised appropriately.
What you'll need:
Due to the requirement to travel, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 years experience
