Job Description Summary
Are you a highly organized, customer focused individual with coordinator experience looking to join a growing team? STEMCELL Technologies is looking for a new Senior Facilities Services Coordinator to help us manage a growing number of internal requests to support day to day operations at our Cambridge, UK facility.


As part of the Facilities Operations team, you will act as the first point of contact for employees, be responsible for the coordination of services by resolving and triaging ticketing requests, and onsite vendor management. You’ll work collaboratively with our larger Facilities Operations team both locally and globally to keep the facility running smoothly and safely while providing excellent customer service.
Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for visitors and guests entering the Cambridge facility.

  • Assist in any Facility incidents via the internal Facility Incident Management team.

  • Help to manage the access control process for the Cambridge facility.

  • Continuous onsite monitoring of service levels of internal and externally provided services.

  • Gather requirements for assessment and coordinate services between internal stakeholders and external contractors/service provides as needed

  • Collaborate with internal teams to draft communications to provide internal facing updates , including reports relating to quality audits to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including monitoring of supplies, minute taking, shipping & receiving packages.

  • Working closely with the landlord for any internal or external requests.

  • Assist the laboratory teams with basic needs such as restocking consumables, and removing waste.

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of previous experience with coordination and administration; Facilities experience preferred but not required

  • Experience with ticketing systems (eg JIRA) is an asset

  • Proactive, customer-oriented mindset, with an ability to follow protocols, action solutions, and/or escalate issues as required

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

£12.67 - £37,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include health benefits, retirement savings, and more (depending on region).
