Job summary

BMT is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Senior Facilities Officer to oversee its UK offices, primarily based from the Fareham office, with travel to other sites as needed. The role blends hands-on facilities work with strategic oversight to ensure safety, compliance, and a welcoming workplace.

You will coordinate with Health & Safety, Security, IT and facilities teams, manage contractors and records, and drive continuous improvement in office environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing office, facilities, or workplace operations across single or multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management, compliance, and workplace services.
• Ability to advise, coach, and train teams on facilities and Health & Safety processes.
• Experience delivering projects such as office fit-outs, relocations, or workplace improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UK offices to ensure safety, compliance, and well‑maintained, engaging workplaces.
• Coordinate with Health & Safety, Security, IT and other teams; maintain accurate records.
• Manage contractors, liaise with landlords, and conduct inspections and audits as needed.
• Monitor facilities performance; address service requests and operational issues with minimal disruption.
• Lead, develop and manage suppliers and service delivery across multiple sites.
