Senior Facilities Manager - Commercial

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £50k to £55k Plus Car allowance

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to work within the commercial, industrial, and retail sector, based in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity to join a talented team within a dynamic business.

The Role
  1. Assist in managing all portfolio matters such as monthly client reporting, quarterly KPI reporting, and environmental data collation.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and set up vacant property inspections according to insurance requirements.
  3. Work closely with tenants to foster and maintain strong relationships.
  4. Ensure compliance with legislation, including Health and Safety regulations.
  5. Monitor and audit service delivery across estates and assist with service charge recovery.
  6. Assist in managing rental income, other income, and tenant arrears.
  7. Handle tenant applications for consent in accordance with the Licence to Alter process.
  8. Ensure tenants’ compliance with lease obligations related to use and maintenance.
  9. Prepare and administer service charge budgets, annual expenditure, and reconciliations.
  10. Oversee the provision of common services to properties and tenants.
  11. Collaborate with landlords and tenants on property portfolio matters.
  12. Manage contractors and procure suppliers.
  13. Coordinate with client's agents, solicitors, and other consultants.
  14. Administer insurance claims and liaise with loss adjusters.
  15. Work with surveyors to manage the property portfolio effectively.
  16. Oversee utility procurement, verify invoices, and approve tenant recharges.
  17. Perform other duties as required.

The role involves managing a variety of property types, including industrial, office, and neighborhood retail. The successful candidate will work independently for multiple clients, taking full ownership of their portfolio to deliver a best-in-class property management service.
