Job summary

Bovis Construction (Europe) Limited is seeking a Senior Facade Engineer to lead façade design across projects in the Design & Engineering team. You will provide specialist advice on building envelope, review proposals, and manage technical risks from preconstruction through handover.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with architecture, structure, fire and services, and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and standards, delivering safe, buildable façade solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Façade Engineering or related built environment discipline.
• Significant experience in façade/building-envelope projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary design and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist façade engineering advice to project teams and stakeholders.
• Review façade design proposals, calculations, specs and submissions with technical challenge.
• Assess suitability of façade systems against performance requirements.
• Identify significant façade risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Support preconstruction, tendering and procurement with façade input.
• Coordinate façade design with architecture, structure, fire, services and finishes.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, standards and guidelines.
