Job summary

Plymouth Learning Partnership is seeking a Senior EYFS Teaching Assistant to lead nursery provision at St Peter’s C of E Primary School. The successful candidate will work 33.75 hours a week during term time, starting September 2025, enhancing the learning experience for young learners and collaborating in curriculum development.

Contract Term: Permanent Term Time only: 39 weeks per year, Hours: 33.75 hours per week

Salary: STC Grade 4 – NJC Points 10-13. Starting salary £21,825 (£27,694 FTE)

Start Date: September 2025

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, St Peter’s C of E Primary School is incredibly excited to be seeking a Senior EYFS Teaching Assistant who will be able to take a lead for our Nursery provision under the guidance of the EYFS unit leader. Your role will include supporting development of environments and provision and to contribute to assessment and planning for pupils in the unit.
