Job summary

Leeds City Council's Little Owls nurseries are recruiting a Day Care Manager in Little Owls Swarcliffe. You will lead the EYFS curriculum, manage budget responsibilities, and ensure high standards of care. The role offers training and opportunities for progression within a supportive council framework.

The position is permanent, 37 hours per week, with a competitive salary (£38,220 - £40,777) and flexible/hybrid working options where possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare as defined by sector standards.
• GCSE Maths and English at A*-C or equivalent, or commitment to achieve within 2 years.
• DBS check required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide a broad and balanced EYFS curriculum in partnership with families.
• Manage budget in line with financial regulations and maximise income.
• Be the day-to-day lead for Ofsted and ensure safeguarding and safety compliance.
• Develop and support a diverse staff team to deliver high quality education and care.
