Job summary

Solvemed, in collaboration with the University of Essex, is seeking a Postdoctoral Senior Research Associate to join the EyeWarn project, a three-year initiative focused on detecting fatigue and cognitive strain through human–computer interaction and mobile eye biometrics.

The successful candidate will design and conduct lab and remote eye-tracking experiments, curate large datasets, and collaborate with researchers across Essex, Oxford, and Stanford.

Qualifications

• PhD in related discipline required or equivalent research experience.
• Experience organizing and conducting human participant experiments.
• Knowledge of eye-tracking or pupillometry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and conduct eye-tracking experiments in lab and remote settings.
• Organize and curate large datasets, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
• Develop questionnaires and conduct fieldwork to support research objectives.
• Identify trends in eye-tracking/pupillometry data and perform analyses.
• Support preparation of research outputs for academic publication.
• Lead stakeholder events, workshops, and knowledge exchange activities.
