Job summary

The successful candidate will coach team members and ensure quality within budget and timelines. Applicants should have ACA/ACCA or equivalent, at least 3 years in practice with Big 4 or international firms, and solid knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in audit engagements and coaching junior staff.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience liaising with clients and understanding business risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead an audit team and set the audit approach within budget.
• Liaise onsite with clients to obtain information and identify risks.
• Identify key business and audit risks and investigate issues to a solution.
• Research and resolve technical queries from clients.
• Coordinate with tax to finalise taxation figures within time.
• Keep Managers/Senior Managers and Partners updated on progress and budget.
• Report audit findings and propose corrective actions.
• Review junior work to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Collaborate effectively as part of the audit team.
