Job summary

Zurich Insurance UK is seeking a Senior Exposure Management Analyst to shape exposure management across multiple lines. You will provide risk insights, challenge portfolio decisions and support underwriting strategy and portfolio performance.

The role focuses on developing disaster scenarios, portfolio analysis, data quality and reporting improvements while partnering with underwriting and data teams. A strong background in exposure management, catastrophe modelling and analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in exposure management and catastrophe modelling within insurance.
• Ability to translate modelling outputs into business recommendations for underwriting and governance.
• Experience handling large datasets and developing analytical solutions using SQL, Python or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and challenge Realistic Disaster Scenarios (RDS) and stress tests to inform underwriting and governance decisions.
• Deliver portfolio exposure analyses with clear commentary on concentrations and risks.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to support portfolio optimisation and risk-adjusted growth.
• Validate catastrophe models and exposure assumptions to ensure robust risk assessments.
• Drive improvements in exposure data quality, coverage and governance with data stakeholders.
• Support event response activities by assessing portfolio impacts from major events.
• Lead enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities using modern data platforms.
