Job description

I'm looking to speak to experienced Non Nat Cat Modellers/ Exposure Management Analysts to join a dynamic Non-Natural Catastrophe team, supporting the achievement of consistent underwriting profit and exceptional financial results.

As part of the Catastrophe Management team, you'll use cutting-edge catastrophe models and in-house tools to support underwriting, monitor aggregate accumulations, and produce quarterly divisional reports. This role will give you the opportunity to collaborate with divisional underwriters, senior executives, and cross-office teams to drive results and contribute to decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production of quarterly divisional reports using third-party catastrophe models and in-house tools
  • Provide pre-underwriting analysis and support underwriting decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and stakeholders
  • Create ad hoc reports for portfolio analysis and senior leadership
  • Work closely with colleagues across offices and assist the Catastrophe Manager with special projects

Need to have:

  • Proven experience in catastrophe modelling and aggregation management, ideally in the London market
  • Strong IT skills, including SQL proficiency
  • Solid experience in regulator reporting and portfolio-level aggregation techniques
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
