Job title: Senior Executive - Marketing Science EMEA

Reporting to: Executive Director - Marketing Science

Based on Charing Cross Road, OMD EMEA are currently recruiting for a talented Marketing Science Analyst to work in one of the most extraordinary and powerful brands in the world.

At OMD, we provide our clients with innovative media strategies and big ideas driven by insights. We combine data and insight to deliver smart marketing and strategic advice.

You will be focused on driving efficiencies in how we present data and use it in daily work. This will involve innovating how we report and taking advantage of new tools and automation to streamline how data is delivered to clients and their teams. The expectation is that you will be able to find the right data, craft a story, and bring it to life for the client.

This role will be hands-on and fast paced, with great opportunities to learn and develop.

Areas of responsibility

Reporting & Tools

  • Deliver high quality and accurate reports to multiple stakeholders
  • Identify and implement methods to improve data quality process
  • Design and develop reporting dashboards and automation tools
Insights & Optimisations
  • Partner with channel specialists to deliver data-driven day to day optimisations
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to supply actionable insights for campaign reviews
  • Proactively seeking new ways to generate and communicate insights
Advanced Analytics
  • Conduct in-depth data analyses to identify key trends and opportunities
  • Assist senior members with media research and modelling projects
  • Research new statistcal methods and communicate benefit to wider Marketing Science team
Required skills and qualifications
  • Some experience in a media or analytics environment or similar
  • Beginner to Intermediate SQL skills
  • Ideally a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science or other related field of study, or strong on the job learning
  • A strong desire to learn and passion for digital marketing and analytics
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a number of concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing
  • Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to proactively communicate and manage up
Desirable skills
  • Some practical experience with Python or R would be valuable
  • Experience with databases and underlying technologies
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Familiarity with the underlying concepts of ad-serving, web and social analytics tools
  • Experience with digital ad effectiveness analysis.
  • Exposure to visualisation tools, particularly Tableau and PowerBI

For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
