The opportunity

We work closely with innovation and technology to disrupt the traditional model of financial due diligence. We help corporate and private equity clients meet their strategic goals, whether they are acquiring, divesting or raising finance. Our work spans multiple sectors and regions, often involving complex assignments across disciplines, jurisdictions, and service lines.

Our core focus is on using data and analytics in financial due diligence, assessing financial performance, identifying opportunities, risks, and mitigations, and reporting these insights to clients and stakeholders. The Transaction Analytics team provides deeper insights and tests value drivers with innovative solutions and digital capabilities.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, developing your skills in financial due diligence and technical training across various sectors. Projects typically involve collaboration within a cross-service line team.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager, you will understand key business drivers, co-develop approaches with clients using digital solutions, provide insights and advice, and project manage teams. You will collaborate internally within the transaction diligence function and other departments at EY.

• Experience in planning, preparing, and reviewing deliverables, including visualizations, reports, and presentations

To qualify for the role you must have

• A qualification in computer science, engineering, or a highly numerate science
• ACA (or equivalent) qualification or relevant financial qualification
• Strong commercial or industry/transaction experience
• Business development or innovation experience
• Knowledge of data analytics tools (Alteryx, PowerBI)
• Project management skills
• Passion for high-quality client service

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in a transaction environment and understanding of analytics value throughout the transaction cycle
• Client-facing experience from professional services
• Experience with VBA and SQL (not essential)
