Job summary

Callosum Technologies Ltd in London is seeking an experienced engineer to own the program evolution loop, a guided search system that iteratively generates and evaluates programs against verifiable objectives.

You will improve how it searches, measure effectiveness, and extend it to kernels, runtimes, scheduling, and scaling policies, collaborating with our hardware and software teams to advance intelligent systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in optimization, search strategies, and non-gradient methods.
• Ability to design and evaluate verifiable objectives for optimization loops.
• Proven track record turning experiments into reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Own the program evolution and optimization loop from concept to production.
• Develop reusable internal tools for kernel, runtime, scheduling, and caching improvements.
• Evaluate and improve search strategies across workloads.
• Collaborate with ML and systems teams to ship reliable infrastructure.
