Job summary

Peninsula Group is seeking a Senior Events Manager to lead the strategy and delivery of its event programme. Based in London or Gibraltar, you will work with senior stakeholders to drive exceptional client experiences and governance across a fast-paced, global environment.

You will own the events strategy, manage budgets, and develop a high-performing team, delivering a premium events portfolio aligned to business objectives and brand positioning.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading premium, relationship focused event programmes.
• Proven leadership capability, including coaching and team development.
• Strong strategic planning and portfolio management skills, delivering at pace across priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the events strategy and annual programme aligned to business objectives and brand positioning.
• Establish portfolio planning, prioritisation and delivery cadence with clear objectives and success measures.
• Lead, coach and develop the Events Manager/Coordinator and set objectives.
• Provide senior oversight for flagship events with high production standards and stakeholder alignment.
• Own events governance, risk, timelines, communications and measurement from concept to post-event evaluation.
• Oversee budgets, vendor procurement, contracts, expenses and post-event reporting.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, scalability and continuous improvement.
