About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Events Manager to join the team at one of Surrey’s most popular golf clubs. This venue hosts a wide range of events—from corporate away days and private functions to beautiful weddings and seasonal celebrations. This is a key role for an experienced events professional who thrives on delivering outstanding experiences from start to finish, while also bringing a strong sales focus to drive new business and hit sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of event delivery from enquiry through to execution, ensuring a seamless 360° client experience.
• Proactively generate and convert new business leads, with a strong emphasis on corporate events and weddings.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and tastings with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Work closely with the operations, F&B, and marketing teams to ensure smooth communication and flawless delivery.
• Prepare detailed proposals, costings, and contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and local partners to support repeat business and referrals.
• Stay up to date with industry trends to ensure our offerings remain competitive and appealing.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in a similar events role within a venue, hotel, or private members’ club setting.
• Strong sales background with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• End-to-end event management experience, from planning and logistics to on-the-day coordination and post-event follow-up.
• Knowledge of the wedding and corporate events market in Surrey and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
