Joining Absolute Taste as a Senior Event Manager, you will take full project leadership of Silverstone, a high-profile event catering for 4,800 guests over three days. You’ll also support on Salon Privé and bespoke projects, delivering world-class hospitality experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate event professional to work with top-tier clients, manage large-scale events, and lead teams across culinary, logistics, and operations.

This role is full-time (40 hours per week), with ad hoc hours required based on event schedules. While the role is flexible, you will be expected to work on-site during events to ensure seamless execution.

Lead on prestigious events such as Silverstone and Salon Privé
Competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Project lead on Silverstone, ensuring seamless event delivery
• Act as the key client contact , managing senior stakeholder relationships
• Oversee event planning, logistics, and supplier coordination
• Work closely with the Head Chef on menu planning and operational food delivery
• Manage event budgets, forecasting, and financial tracking
• Lead and motivate large teams , ensuring smooth operations on-site
• Identify and implement efficiencies in cost, staffing, and event execution

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in senior event catering management
Strong understanding of large-scale event operations
Expertise in budget management, forecasting, and financial tracking
Ability to lead teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Excellent client relationship skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
