Job Description:

Our Events Team offers a diverse range of events, including dinners, gala balls, awards, hospitality, seminars, exhibitions, charity events, festivals, and conferences across the UK and Europe. The team manages the entire event lifecycle, from conception to completion, providing opportunities to gain comprehensive experience in event management. Reporting to the Events Manager, this role involves meticulous planning, on-site logistics (including AV support), hosting, and participating in sporting events.

We seek a professional, outgoing, approachable, positive, organized, and physically capable individual with excellent time management and attention to detail. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing multiple projects and a 'whatever it takes' attitude towards event success.

Key responsibilities
  1. Support the development, implementation, and management of an extensive event program through creative project management and budget control.
  2. Create promotional collateral, website content, and videos to showcase events and hospitality offerings to internal and external clients.
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure consistent and cohesive campaign and communication delivery across the organization.
  4. Host and manage events, liaising with staff, venues, speakers, and suppliers.
  5. Manage event attendance, including creating support materials to boost participation.
  6. Ensure the safe delivery of event collateral and equipment, including stage setup and AV troubleshooting.
  7. Maintain relationships with external agencies such as venues, merchandise providers, entertainment companies, and AV providers, ensuring clear communication of work requirements and success criteria.
  8. Research and source speakers, including clinical, motivational, keynote, celebrity, and professional speakers, to meet event objectives.
  9. Create evaluation surveys to monitor campaign success and report findings to leadership.
  10. Stay updated on regulatory changes and develop supporting events accordingly.
