Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity for candidates with 1-2 years of events experience to advance their skills by working on a diverse range of events, from high-profile celebrity galas like Global’s Make Some Noise Night to stewardship events at prestigious venues including Downing Street and The House of Lords. You will also have the chance to volunteer at major events such as Capital’s Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball, and contribute to shaping new events led by presenters and committees.

It’s an exciting time to join, as events will play a key role in developing a dynamic new portfolio to engage high-value supporters. The role is pivotal in shaping the future calendar and achieving ambitious targets.

Salary

Circa £30K

Key Responsibilities
  1. Event Management and Supporter Stewardship (30%)
    • Support the Senior Events Manager to ensure event plans are delivered to a high standard.
    • Assist with guest management, ensuring a smooth experience for guests pre- and on the day of events.
    • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, guests, and stakeholders to ensure excellent stewardship and recognition.
  2. Fundraising Auction/Prizes (35%)
    • Collaborate to develop engaging fundraising mechanics, including sponsorship opportunities and auctions.
    • Secure auction prizes by building relationships with supporters and external partners.
    • Manage auction fulfilment and oversee online auction platforms to maximize income.
  3. Event Administration and Processes (35%)
    • Support financial management of events, including budgeting and monitoring expenditure.
    • Maintain accurate database records for supporter care and event analysis.
    • Stay informed about competitor activity and explore new opportunities.
