Our Events Team offers a diverse range of events, including dinners, gala balls, awards, hospitality, seminars, exhibitions, charity events, festivals, and week-long conferences. Traveling across the UK and Europe, our team manages the entire event lifecycle from conception to completion, providing an incredible opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in event management.
Reporting to the Events Manager, this hands-on role involves meticulous planning, on-site logistics (including AV support), hosting, and participating in sporting events.
We are seeking a professional, outgoing, approachable, positive, and organised individual with excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of managing multiple projects. A ‘Whatever it takes’ attitude is essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage an extensive programme of events through creative project management and budget control.
- Create promotional materials such as printed collateral, website content, and videos to showcase our events and hospitality offerings.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across all business areas to ensure consistent and cohesive campaign delivery.
- Host and manage events, liaising with staff, venues, speakers, and suppliers.
- Manage event attendance, including creating support materials to boost participation.
- Ensure the safe delivery of event collateral and equipment, including building and dismantling stage sets and operating AV equipment.
- Maintain relationships with external agencies such as venues, merchandise providers, entertainment companies, and AV providers, ensuring clear communication and success criteria.
- Research and source speakers, including clinical, motivational, keynote, celebrity, and professional speakers, aligned with event objectives.
- Create evaluation surveys to measure event success and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and adapt event planning accordingly.
