Job description

About

We’re not just your average health company; we’re aiming to revolutionise access to healthcare in the UK by offering innovative health and wellbeing solutions that are affordable, accessible, and effective. From preventive care to comprehensive medical support, we aim to empower individuals to take charge of their health, inspiring them to make the most of their wellbeing. Added to that, we’re the first health insurer in the UK to be awarded B-Corp status in recognition of our significant achievements in sustainability, in addition to our ambitious environmental and social responsibility goals.

Our Events Team offers an incredibly diverse range of events, including dinners, gala balls, awards, hospitality, seminars, exhibitions, charity events, festivals, and week-long conferences. Traveling across the UK and Europe, our team manages the end-to-end event experience, providing an opportunity to oversee each event's full lifecycle from conception to completion. Reporting to the Events Manager, this hands-on role involves meticulous planning, on-site logistics (including AV support), as well as hosting and participating in sporting events.

We are seeking a professional, outgoing, approachable, positive, and organized individual who is physically able and possesses excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of managing multiple projects. We believe that an event can only succeed with a ‘Whatever it takes’ attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, implementation, and management of an extensive programme of events through creative project management, budget control, and ownership.
  • Create promotional materials such as printed collateral, website content, and videos to excite, engage, and promote our offerings to internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across all business areas to ensure campaigns and communications are consistent and cohesive.
  • Host and manage events, liaising with staff, venues, speakers, and suppliers.
  • Manage event attendance, creating support materials to increase participation.
  • Ensure the safe delivery of all event collateral and equipment, including building and dismantling stage sets and operating AV equipment.
  • Maintain relationships with external agencies such as venues, merchandise providers, entertainment companies, and AV providers, ensuring clear briefings and success criteria.
  • Research and source speakers, including clinical, motivational, keynote, celebrity, and professional speakers, to meet event objectives.
  • Create evaluation surveys to measure campaign success and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt event planning accordingly.
  • Line manage Event Executives.
