Job Introduction

We're looking for a confident and creative Senior Events Coordinator to join our team at a prestigious client site in the City of London. The client is a multinational financial services company.

In this role, you'll be part of a driven team that brings events to life-turning ideas into seamless, engaging experiences. From planning through to delivery, your eye for detail and passion for hospitality will ensure each event leaves a lasting impression.

Contract type: Full-time

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; shift rota basis between 7 AM and 7 PM, with flexibility for overtime as per business needs)

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operations.
  • Supporting event coordinators with the planning and production of all key events
  • Working with the on-site team to prepare and manage events from start to finish, including troubleshooting, equipment problems, and solving technical issues
  • Liaising with all other service providers to develop and deliver events successfully
  • Creating and updating SOPs to ensure the events department is running as smoothly as possible
  • Ensuring health and safety documentation and obligations are adhered to and in place
  • Taking ownership of your working hours to cover key events - any overtime being communicated to Account Manager
  • Encouraging and praising the team for provision of outstanding service through reward programs (e.g., WOW Awards, Be a Star, and Excellence Awards)
