Job summary

Encore is seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to act as the onsite project leader for high-profile events. You will coordinate technical production, schedules, and resources, liaise with clients and vendors, and ensure execution from load-in to load-out.

You will manage budgets, supervise staff, and uphold safety and production standards. You will drive client satisfaction through strong relationships, accurate show documentation, and proactive problem-solving, while mentoring team

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of technical experience in the Corporate Staging or Broadcast industry; Project Management experience preferred
• 1+ year of Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong Technical Background
• Strong Client relationship skills
• Familiarity with budgets and cost control
• Operational logistics experience
• Works well under pressure
• Ability to travel up to 50% may be required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate technical production & labour schedules, sub-rental requirements, project scope, execution plan and individual responsibilities to team members, vendors and venue partners.
• Determine and secure the resources required to successfully complete each project.
• Drive Results - maintain client focus by attending client meetings, creating and maintaining show documentation, and responding to client concerns and questions.
• Monitor project scope throughout the event planning process and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Assist sales and operations teams to determine equipment needs and technical solutions for the project.
• Assist with the creation of technical diagrams when required.
• Review all sales documents to confirm equipment and technical positions meet client needs.
• Deliver World Class Service - build strong client relationships and provide outstanding service while focusing on retention.
• Provide leadership for Technical teams on events.
• Ensure all HSE documentation such as Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place and communicated to the project delivery team prior to execution.
• Event Execution: act as project leader and onsite client contact, manage load-in through run of show to load-out, ownership of inventory, communicate project plan to team, manage onsite changes, mentor team, ensure compliance with Technical Standards, health and safety, and company policies.
• Administrative & Training: complete post-event reporting, participate in PM SOP development, review and analysis of proposed events
